The NoMol trap, a design used for more than 100 years, is a simple, economical tool to control moles, the company says — noting that it’s pesticide-free, environmentally sound, and effective. An average-sized suburban yard with damage typically has one to three moles. Moles can dig tunnels at approximately 18 ft./hour, depending on soil conditions. Young are born and within three weeks they start feeding on their own. Thus, early trapping is critical to success.
